This cake was a Surprise Gift for my sister in law Jeya Girija's Engagement. I had decided to do the cake for my SIL long back and i had so many different ideas for this cake. But after i saw her saree which was 1 week before the event i changed the whole design of the cake. Crazy right ...yah i know ....but i am glad i did ......The Colours on the Cake was inspried by the Brides Saree which was Vibrant Orange and Pink. The Sugar Peony topper was my first attempt at making this flower. Mehendi Stencils were used on the sides of the cake. On the whole the Birde and guests loved the cake and I was really happy with the outcome. Top Tier was a chocolate cake and the bottom tier was butter cake.
