ARIAL THE MERMAID

Hi its been a long time since i posted. Well now i am back in KL after a long 2 month vacation from Chennai. Now things are getting back to normal. This is a Arial Mermaid Cake for a 8 year old girl who lovers Arial. Here is a few photos taken

This is the baked butter cake taken from the oven and letting it cool

The cake covered with Butter Cream Icing. The mouth and the eyes was the challenging part and took the most time to do. Overall i think it came out very well.

The final cake with the finishing touches. . I decorated the edges of the cake with Icing and topped with brown sugar to give it a sea effect. Then placed chocolate molded shells on it. Finally i got a chance to use my chocolate mold which i had bought.

I didnt want to mess the cake by adding candles and the Happy Birthday wording on the cake. So I made Fondant rocks and stuck them it.

I hope Divya loved the cake and had a great Birthday.
