Kuali conducted a "LIVE" Cake decorating competition on 28th May 2011 at Tropicana City Mall. All the participants were asked to send in pictures of 3 of their cakes and 15 best cakes were selected for the finals. I was selected as one of the 15 finalist for the competition.The theme was " Celebrate Life" and the participants were given 60min to cover a 7inch round dummy and decorate it according to their design. The only catch was a mystery box was given to them and they had to use the tools and material provided in the box. The mystery box items were fondant, stencils, boarder cutter and a bunch of flowers. The participants were allowed to bring pre-made decoration for their cake.
My cake won SPECIAL PRIZE for the best use of tools provided in the mystery box.
