This is a Mango Ice Cream Cake which was order by Roopini as a surprise birthday gift for her father's 60th birthday. This cake shows dad with his beer relaxing on the sofa and his adorable two dogs are sitting next to him.
Thank you Roopini for the order and I hope you had a great party....

MALAYSIAN CAKE DECORATING CLUB - MCDC MEET #8

I recently joined the Malaysian Cake Decorating Club Forum , its a great place for cake decorator to share their ideas and ask questions.

This Saturday they had their 8th Meet at Pastry Pro. The topic was Making Ice Creams and Ice Cream Cakes. I was very glad I was able to make it since I met a lot of people and made some new friends. We learnt how to make delicious Ice Cream from home and how to make ice cream cakes. After that we got to taste all the ice creams and the cakes..........Wow it was a YUMMY experience............

ICE CREAM CAKE

April 3rd was my husband's 36th birthday so i wanted to take this opportunity to try out a new recipe..... The cake is a butter cake and in this batter I mixed Strawberry Ice cream. Bake the cake as usual and wow a lovely pink cake which tastes like Ice Cream. I cut the cake in half and layered with a thick layer of vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream. Frosted the cake with fresh cream and decorated with colorful marshmallows.

I was rushing to finish the cake in time so didnt take much pictures..........here are a few pictures taken .........

Everyone like the cake esp the kids loved it since it was a double treat Cake and Ice Cream two in one...........
